3 Day Paris Itinerary!

Here’s my 3 day school trip Paris Itinerary! This is itinerary is perfect for the busy bee who wants to see some touristy sights of Paris but also local spots and scenes. Enjoy!

Day 1:

Arrive in Paris in Afternoon

Hotel: Moxy Paris Bastille - The Moxy is an affordable hotel in a great location, in the 11th Arrondissement, very close to the Bastille. The hotel breakfast is also bomb!

Visit to Centre Pompidou (free) - Centre Pompidou is a free modern and contemporary art museum, in the 4th Arrondissement. The museum also holds one of the best skyline views of the city in my opinion! go up the escalators to the roof at sunset, thank me later!

Dinner at Chez Janou - a five minute walk from the Moxy Hotel, this famous bistro is delicious and welcoming. All your classic French dishes can be found here, and don’t skip the chocolate mousse!

Day 2:

Hotel Breakfast- French hotel breakfast is a step up from US hotel breakfast I promise😉 If your hotel includes breakfast, give it a chance! it will probably be just as delicious as a cafe.

Carnavalet Museum - Explore the history of Paris at the Carnavalet Museum. If you enjoy beautiful rooms of gold and chandeliers, there’s also that too. Oh yeah, and a beautiful garden!

Lunch at Pink Mama - So this one’s kind of far away, but it was necessary for me to try one of the most popular restaurants of Paris (and also known as the most aesthetic), Pink Mama! It’s another delicious Italian spot brought to you by the incredible Big Mama Group chain. I had to take the metro to get to Pink Mama since it was out of the way from the rest of the day’s plans, but it was a great visit for the photos and the food. Beware, there will be a wait, even if you make a reservation in advance. My wait was a bit over an hour on a Tuesday for lunch. What to order: truffle pasta of course🤤.

Afternoon at Shakespeare and Company - Spend the afternoon wandering around the Latin Quarter and exploring the Shakespeare and Co. bookstore. If you’re a reader, the bookshop will be heaven, and if you’re not a reader, it’s still a cool sight with interesting history. Make sure you go upstairs to the hidden reading layer and play the piano, I could spend all day in there! Shakespeare and Co. also has a cafe next-door, or there’s Odette for some sweet treats. You won’t run out of things to do in the Latin Quarter because there are shops, the Notre-Dame, and the bouquinistes along the Seine!

Dinner at BAOBAR - If you love dumplings and bao buns you need to try BAOBAR! No reservations taken and there was already a line before the restaurant opened so I recommend arriving a bit early. I tried the Guy Bar Fried Chicken and the Shui Jiao Pork which was enough to fill me up for the night!

Dessert at Amorino Gelato - Perhaps if you want a more fancy dessert you can search for another place, but Amorino was close to dinner and it is a yummy gelato chain at any location you visit!

Day 3:

Hotel Breakfast obviously😛but if you’re looking to spice up breakfast try a cute cafe like Carette or Angelina!

Tour Montmartre - There’s Paris and there’s Montmartre. Montmartre is it’s own hidden of gem Paris, filled with cobblestone streets, hills, the Sacre Course, and cabarets! Tour this quarter’s street art, colorful buildings, and charm. I bet you’ll find a part of Montmartre that strikes your love for Paris.

Lunch at La Maison Rose - La Maison Rose is the pink restaurant you may have seen on your Instagram feed before. While the outside is super cute for the photos, the food is also great inside! Reservations and walk ins are taken. I arrived right when the restaurant opened for lunch and had no waiting issues. If you don’t dine at La Maison Rose, photos are still super cute in front of the pink walls☺️.

Shopping at Gallery Lafayette - What’s a trip to Paris without a little bit of shopping? Whether you make any purchases or just like to walk around, visit Gallery Lafayette to fulfill all of your shopping needs. This department store is the ultimate department store, with the most beautiful ceiling ever! Another tip: a great viewing spot of the Parisian skyline is the Gallery Lafayette rooftop (and it’s free😉).

Tour the Opera Garnier - This is a must see in Paris for the first timer or the local. The Opera Garnier is a spectacular sight of Paris that transports you into royalty, I couldn’t take my eyes off of the ceiling the whole visit. What’s great about the opera is that you can still visit without actually viewing an opera (even though that’s incredible too). Full tickets are 14 Euros per person! If you want iconic instagram photos at the opera, go right before they close, the rooms will be close to empty and you’ll get the perfect shot!

Dinner at New Jawad - I was craving some Indian food and tried New Jawad which is very close to the Eiffel Tower. It’s wasn’t the best Indian food in the world but it did it’s job. This is Paris and France definitely doesn’t do the best job on Indian food. But for a nice Indian meal it wasn’t too bad!

Watch the Eiffel Tower Sparkle - This never gets old, the magic of Paris will always be present when you’re up close for those 5 minutes of sparkling bliss. The sparkle happens the first 5 minutes of every hour once night falls. Priceless!

Walk along the Seine - Another free activity that will always stun me, a simple walk along Paris’ river. Blast some music, bring your besties, you’ll have the time of your life without wasting a penny. Maybe a penny if you want to make a wish into the river!

That’s my action-packed 3 Day Paris Itinerary! I always love exploring the different quarters and cultures Paris has to offer! So long Paris, a bientôt.❤️
